Water Testing

The Wadena SWCD offers free, walk-in/drop-off nitrate testing at our office during normal business house. Results are available within minutes. Bring at least one-half cup of water in either a clean plastic or glass container or Ziploc-type bag to the nitrate testing clinic. To get a good sample, allow the water to run 5 to 10 minutes before filling the container.

RMB can also test your water samples for other contaminates such as arsenic, lead, and coliform bacteria, if desired.
